| Junior Players, in collaboration with Shakespeare Dallas, announces auditions for Romeo & Juliet! The classic tale of forbidden love will be directed by professional actress, director and long-time Junior Players collaborator/instructor, Valerie Hauss-Smith! Who is eligble: Any high school student from the north Texas area who is currently in grades 9 - 12 What you need to audition: -16 - 20 lines of a Shakespearean monologue, memorized -a recent photo or headshot -a resume of your theatrical experience -an audition appointment Audition dates & times: Date: Saturday April 17, 2010 Time: 1:00 - 4:00 pm Location: Sammons Center for the Arts 3630 Harry Hines Blvd Dallas, TX 75219 (4th floor in Kurth Hall) Callbacks: Saturday April 24, 2010, 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Sammons Center for the Arts Rehearsals: Begin June 14th and will run Monday-Friday from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at Sammons Center for the Arts Performances: July 27th - August 1st 8:15 pm at Samuell-Grand Park Amphitheater Auditioning students may also be considered for PUP Fest put on in collaboration with Kitchen Dog Theater. If you are offered a PUP Fest role the time requirement will be from June 7th - 12th. |
